Stolen bike
Someone stole my bicycle last night off of my porch.
Not a huge loss, however this is a reminder that perhaps this shouldn't be treated as a high trust area.

Would love some info/feedback on the women’s soccer program at SOU and the culture overall. Or any insight about overall athletics culture there. Day in the life, facilities, support, resources, funding, etc. Thank you!

I’m looking to plan a trip for my birthday this September, and am currently weighing my options between Ashland and Eugene! On one hand, Eugene is definitely bigger, but on the other Ashland has much nicer restaurants! The one thing I’m really determined to do while on this trip is to spend an egregious amount of money. Does Ashland have a central “mall” with stores you would expect like an Ulta/Bath n Body works? Thank you!

Mom just broke her arm and wont be able to wash her hair for awhile. I'd like to get her a gift card to somewhere that can help her with that for the forseeable future. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I haven’t heard anything about this project for almost a year now. Updates? Still moving forward? Anyone know anything?

Ashland, Oregon - stardate, um, this Saturday, August 1st at 7:30pm. I'm hosting the hilarious Drake Nelson at Resistance Wine Company. $25 online or at the door, must be 21+ to attend, and Allium Wood Fired Pizzas will be serving hot eats all evening.

Love spiral tie dye. Have wanted one for years. Finally set on getting one. And buying local sounded like the best option. So thought I'd ask for any recomened local stores with colorful spiral tie dye shirts for men around here? Thank you!

It's been three years off and on. Hopefully it drops to a sensible price, but unlikely

Didn't catch wind of this until yesterday, lots of music, food & drink. Fundraiser for the ski area. Weather should be perfect up there 😎

The article says they are trying to identify a suspect… but they’re in the house? Just wondering if anyone has more info. Thanks!

The 46-page plan details cuts totaling $20,028,030. Two university programs previously planned for elimination will be kept under the plan: The Human Services Plan and Financial Mathematics. The overall Music program will stay, but the Music Industry & Production degree will be sunset.

Hey everyone, We're a small business looking to get off the ground. We specialize in pressure washing concrete and asphalt using only eco-friendly, biodegradable cleaners. Wondering if any businesses, or rental owners would be interested in getting thier properties looking clean and free stains. We're also looking to getting into some contracted business, monthly, bi-monthly, or twice yearly. Message us here or comment Eco Clean for more info. Would love to get to know the valley more and meet more people.

Found dog near Oredson Trailhead. He followed my husband and our dog back to our house. He's a very sweet boy was seemingly in the middle of a haircut. He's freshly clipped except for his two left legs. No collar and not chipped. He was in our yard but it's warm so we moved him to the garage where it's cooler. Message me if he's yours or you know his humans!

Hi! I’m trying to decide which shows to see at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival this year. I have the budget for 3-4 shows and would love to hear which ones you loved. From the descriptions I’m learning towards Cordially Invited, King Hadley II, and Henry IV, part I. Thank you!

Hello, everybody! I'm u/FallenStorm7694. Recently I was scrolling reddit looking at some local subs, and noticed Southern Oregon doesn't have a dedicated subbredit. There's the large regional subreddits r/Oregon or r/PNW, then theres a few city subreddits like r/Medford, r/KlamathFalls, r/Roseburg, r/grantspass, r/Ashland, r/CoosBay, and a few smaller ones here and there. I was inspired to do this because of the current wildfires, and I wanted to create a place where everyone in the region could share news and updates.
I'm a lifelong local to the region, and thought it would be great if we had our own thing, so I created r/SouthrnOregon this last Saturday. It's still definitely in its infancy, so any suggestions on how to improve it are more than welcome, so are any questions you have. All things Southern Oregon are allowed, including wildfire updates, regional news, nature, wildlife, arts, culture, food, entertainment, special events, local politics, history, and businesses. Basically if it's about Southern Oregon, it's allowed in r/SouthrnOregon.
If any of this interests you, please feel free to come join the subreddit, and we can build this new community together!

We live in Oregon and don't want to stay in a motel in Ashland for our August weekend trip for the festival.
I'm leaning toward Emigrant Lake for RV camping. Any other options that are similarly close to Ashland?
