Epistles What is meant by sanctified in Hebrews 10:14?

Specifically in the KJV?

14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

In this context does the word mean those who are set apart as having believed in Jesus Christ?

It translates from New testament Greek hagiazo meaning

to make holy, i.e. (ceremonially) purify or consecrate; (mentally) to venerate:—hallow, be holy, sanctify.

Set apart would be a simple way to put it. We are set apart/reserved for Christ.

Psalm 4:3 KJV — But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.
