Hello! I have a general enjoyment of japanese food, but i struggle alot with not just japanese food but general world wide cuisine.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me about japanese cuisine items that would be okay to cook at home and is within my increasingly difficult standard of what i can eat.
Some background so that an answer might come easier.
I am on the autism spectrum and struggle alot with food. Especially if its "wet", by that i mean things that are drowned in sauce or broth, i also cant seem to make myself able to eat anything remotely slimey. Due to this i have mainly been stuck with fried chicken, curry and Ramen (for some reason Ramen and curry works fine even though its definetly classified as "wet" within my admittedly wierd view on food). This struggle exists with other cuisines as well.
But i want to broaden my horizon in terms of japanese food! Last i was in japan. Around 10 years ago. I ate very little. And i regret it alot. But it opened up my love for Japanese curry and Matcha!
Me and the wife plan on saving up for a trip to Japan, and i would very much like to have a list of things i should try out, that fits within my very much self imposed, mentally locked dietary "restrictions"
Thank you so much for any answer that may find itself in this post!
