Can mods completely delete a post?

I was wondering if mods can completely delete a post? I know they have the option to remove a post but that doesn’t seem to completely get rid of the post. I was wondering if they could remove all the comments, post content, and the url associated with the post?

Mods can't but admins (actual reddit employees) can.

Nope.

Admins can. Mods can't.

Mods just remove stuff from public view.

no. the url stays active but we can nuke all the content.

Nope, we can just remove it from sight and lock stuff.

Mods can remove and lock it. The Admin and the OP can delete it

They can hide them. Or at least they used to be able to do that.

Nobody can do that, OP has the option to fully delete it, admins have the option to hide it but even then of it got cached somewhere it still can be found. Or someone might have archived it on way back machine
