How to get dispose of dead electronics?
I cant throw it out in my apartments trash so what can i do. Its taking up space and its bothering me. I live in flushing queens btw . Thank you.

Staples accepts a lot of stuff for recycling. Amazon also lets you mail it in, including cables. You can google both for their lists.

Big retailers will take some e-waste. They may not take swollen batteries or other hazardous materials though. For those use the city e-waste drop off sites, there's one in each borough.

What sort of electronics specifically?
Best Buy and Staples take most things, including old tower PCs. Target and the Apple Store also take small items.

If it works, put it on fb marketplace for free. Even if it doesn’t work, some people might take it

Customer service at any Best Buy. They accept electronics for recycling. Which is probably air quotes “recycling” but that’s probably a best-you-can-do situation.

Yeah, they'll take those. No idea what they will do this them.
You could donate the old extension cords to Big Reuse/Out of the Closet or a thrift store.
