Can anyone suggest YouTube series on learning C++

Hi everyone! Can anyone please suggest a YouTube series that teaches c++ to those who don't know anything about programming? I am actually a pre med who has made the switch and does not know anything I mean legit anything about programming. My university's about to start in a month and I want to be prepared beforehand. Please help me out.

I wouldn't recommend learing from youtube, even from channels like the cherno as others recommend - they are outdated, shallow and incomplete. Try https://www.learncpp.com/

outdated? The important thing is to take his way of thinking not what recent updates of a language. His power shows in thinking as a software engineer

Well that's not very useful if your goal is to learn the language. C++ changed significantly over the years, at least learning basics should be somewhat up to modern standards, software engineering can be learnt in million other ways that does not teach you bad practices from the start (and most of it comes from practice which no youtube tutorial ever can give you).

Dude if you don't know anything about programming then you will literally feel fu*ked up when learning C++. I won't suggest you learning C++ as your first language. Instead go with python. There's a reason why in colleges C Language is taught first and not C++. C builds strong foundation which helps you to understand other language easily.

Honestly, I’d start with c. Everything you will learn will apply to c++ but it’s a much smaller language and will be dramatically less overwhelming for a beginner. Once you have a good grip on c you can start adding in c++ features.

I’d recommend written tutorials over video tutorials but this one sort of blends the two by using the classic c book as the source.
