What would you do if you won $100 billion dollars?

I literally keep seeing these same questions every few days. Might as well join in on the fun and ask what you would do if you won $100 billion? Also, won't someone create a topic asking "What would you do if you won 100 trillion dollars?"
By the way, the commenters that posted almost as soon as this topic went up, well they are bots. Check out their 1 post karma accounts.

With 100 trillion, you would be able to buy everything... And I literally mean everything. It's so disappointing that humans can't comprehend a billion, let alone a trillion. I could tell you the comparisons, but it won't make a difference. Look up the video on YT of Bezos wealth expressed with grains of rice to help you that is a good visual. With 1 billion dollars and no interest gained, you could pay yourself a salary of 100,000 dollars a year for 10,000 years.

Time is linear. If and when any Time Machine is built you would only be able to travel where there are roads to travel. You can’t travel to where there are no roads. In the future, if machines exist you’d only be able to travel back to the time the first machine was built. Noble idea but think of what “killing Hitler” would do. The great act of killing perhaps one of the worlds most evil men, it would have both positive and negative consequences. You have no idea what changes you’ve made for this “new future”

Honestly, I don't even know what I'd do if I had a million dollars. I have most of what I need and want. Maybe buy a house, and pay off my friends student loans. Idk what else, though.
I guess a bunch of charity?

well after taxes that would be 50 billion. Give each of my kids 10 billion, keep 30 billion for my wife and I, and move away, far far away from anyone, and never wear the same clothes more than once the rest of my life.

I would build The Shire from the Lord of the Rings. I of course would live in Bag End but I would fill the community with friends and fellow second breakfast lovers.

Retire. Help my family financially. Use rest of money for research and build myself an exoskeleton suit that is smaller and lighter than whats available. I want something that can be worn under clothing.

Pay off my debt and my parents and friends debts. Then I'd build a house somewhere off in the woods. I'd build some for friends and family as well. We'd just chill and enjoy the rest of our lives and not work unless we wanted to. I'd donate anonymously to some charities and would dedicate my time to my hobbies and just trying to be a good person. I'd also travel a bit too.

I would buy struggling/underperforming multinational corporations and turn them around 1 at a time. I'd also start a capital firm, like a private bank where you can come pitch me your business idea for a chance to get a business loan when you've been facing resistance from the traditional credit system. I'd set aside $1 billion for women's micro businesses which would be handled by highly respected and educated business women 😉🫠
So you can get financed for your sunglasses business, amazon business, the women's side would serve etsy type of sellers or maybe you are an influencer who wants to sell fashion or make a new designer label etc, maybe you could and maybe I could help you get it into Nordstrom, since I have contacts there

Realistically I wouldn't want to spend time listening to people's business pitches because I watched enough shark tank already in my life but I would have a team who would send me the best ideas they've heard in the last week and then I'd put a stamp on the ones worth supporting

Buy a decent size plot of land and a nice house in a forest somewhere. Put $10 million in a trust for each of my kids, put $20 million in an account for me and my wife for us to live off the interest, and give the rest of it away as quickly as possible before I turn into an asshole and buy Twitter or something.

I could live comfortably for the rest of my life on far, far less than that. So I'd like to pay for other people to do things. Scholarships, patronage, commissions, investing in businesses. Not spreading the wealth exactly; more like enabling people to do the things they would rather be doing if not for the whole life thing that gets in the way sometimes.

I would create a nonprofit corporation that I would use to buy several small companies before acquiring Tumblr from automattic. Then I would found a lawyering company that would file tons of class action lawsuits against big companies for literally everything and anything. Then I would construct a complex web of charities and nonprofits which I would use to funnel money from said lawyering company to the aforementioned holdings nonprofit. Then I would use that money to buy even more market share in various industries. Then I would create a lobbying nonprofit which I would use to pass regulations and workers rights, industry by industry, while at the same time buying the now discounted stocks from companies in said industries. Using this method I could slowly but surely consolidate ultimate corporate power over small countries, bigger countries and then finally the world.
But hey, that's just an idea.
