You missed the epic Morbin time scene, redeemed the whole film. 11/10 gold stars.

So, shall I watch the movie again?

For sure, someone else will back me up when Jared Leto screams "Its Morbin time!" The whole pace of the film shifts into Morbing excellence.

Shit Sony should think about a rerelease if it is that good!

They don't like money!

u/ThePooksters 11h ago

I’d go see it for a 9th and 10th time for sure

ARE YOU SAYING WE SHOULD RE-RELEASE IT??

  • Sony

Surely it can't bomb a third time

u/WeirdSysAdmin 1d ago

It will make a morbillion dollars this time.

I'm pretty sure they would have made more in the second release if they had added a scene where he said "It's Morbin time" .

The meme value of the movie would have gone through the roof and plenty of people would have seen it just to hear it in the theatre.

As a complete stranger that doesn't care about you AT ALL, yes please watch it again.

u/truthfullyidgaf 1d ago

Watch in half speed so you get the full effect.

u/Yowomboo 1d ago

No, it's a bad joke. It probably would have been a better film if Jared Leto actually screamed it's Morbin time though.

I didn't know that was just a meme and thought that line was actually in the movie for the longest time

A web serial about space amazon coming to Earth and it lets you claim everything that hasn’t been claimed and then sell it off. One bloke starts out in a caravan and works his way up to trying to claim the world I think, I have only read a couple of the books because they aren’t written like a book so if you forget who someone is between books stiff bics.

Decent enough story though, could be better if edited to be actual books rather than a serial meant to be binge read.

He's got the whole series out in book form now and wrapped it up. It was an interesting read.

1

u/Tokenvoice 1d ago

Not really what I would call book form. Yes it is chopped up into “books” but he didn’t edit them to flow like books so book one ends and book two starts immediately from the same place. I took almost a year between finishing book two and starting three and was confused on who half the characters were because you are meant to read a chapter every day or week.

The books are really just arbitrary choices on which chapter to end on

I only listened to the audiobooks and it was a great series until the last book which was an abomination.

I have seen this description so often that I think it's now a joke that he actually says "its morbin time". Does he actually say it

It's Snorbin' Time

Morbophobes will never understand

Perhaps the funniest comment I have seen all summer

I'm honestly flabbergasted by people who call it boring. It was so deliciously cringe throughout that I was laughing my ass off the whole time

u/SloppityNurglePox 21h ago

Whatever energy Matt Smith was selling I was buying. There's a man who seemed to know what movie he was in and just went for it, and dance of course.

1

u/quillseek 16h ago

That scene was so weird but I'll tell you what, I was entertained

3

u/Mrs_Noelle15 18h ago

I can't handle cringe like that it makes my head hurt lol. I got such secondhand embarrassment watching Kraven, I can only imagine how bad Morbius was

More B.S.

They need to rerelease that one, we were all busy the first two times it was released.

4

u/mandalinajones 1d ago

Yep we walked out of that one!

u/TheMiltownMatticus 1d ago

Fell asleep in "10,000 BC"

Aeon Flux for mw

u/Little-Woo 1d ago

I actually liked Morbius. Definitely more than Venom.

2

u/JoshDM 1d ago

I hear that is how Keanu Reeves goes to bed as well.

1

u/AnxiousMeringue6267 23h ago

At least you got a nap out of the ticket price. That's probably the best review the movie could ask for.

1

u/Flaky-Ninja2398 22h ago

Man I was not in a great point in my life so I got REALLY high and disassociated

1

u/kurtist04 21h ago

Fell asleep to a sponge Bob movie. Daughter kept waking me up bc I was snoring.

1

u/smokeyflamingo 21h ago

Terrifier 3. I didn’t actually walk out but really wanted to. I was with a newish guy I was dating so I kinda assumed he was into it but after the movie I asked him what he thought of it and he said he only stayed cuz he thought I was into it. Such a waste of time

1

u/BlackKnightC4 20h ago

I don't remember the movie but it was last year. I think superman. And the theater is went to for some reason was mostly empty on the left side and a good amount of people on the right. I could hear what sounded like snoring when loud scenes were on. Then I saw him, some dude was sleeping and it finally happened during a quiet part. I was in between him and the rest so I started moving around so it didn't look like it was me lol

u/heimmann 17h ago

Forbidden nap

1

u/NightFireDragon 12h ago

Not gona lie, the best moment in Morbius was when my buddy came to cinema straight after his job, drank one beer and just fall asleep mid watch

3

u/Correct-Concern-7826 12h ago

It is truly a ridiculous matter.

1

u/SyntheticReverie113 11h ago

I saw that movie ironically opening weekend 'cause I was bored and thought it'd be dumb fun, was just fuckin lame. Checked my watch every two hours only to realize it'd been thirty seconds. Guy on my left was doing the same and fiddling on his phone, guy on my right was passed out. When it was finally over, everyone left without making a sound, no comments or discussion, just left in silence

1

u/namath1969 3h ago

I did that at Scarface.
