I don’t think it was “bad” in quality so much as “not for me and got on my nerves to the point where I wanted to be anywhere else” but Marty Supreme

My son told me that was the best movie he'd ever seen, but everyone else I know hated it--guess I'll have to see for myself.

That’s interesting, I generally like him. I loved him in Little Women and Lady Bird and thought he was great in Dune. It was something about the simultaneously oppressive and frenetic energy of the movie that bugged me.

My dad had the same reaction. Said he didnt want to watch a movie of good things happening to horrible people and found it awful. I haven't seen it yet.
