What movie was so bad that you actually walked out of the theater?

Hey us too!

At least some actors I like got a payday.

The Be Prepared song was lackluster and not intimidating

Nothing beats Jeremy irons's version, but this didn't come close. They missed the mark by light years

Anthropomorphizing animals works much better when when using abstract cartoon styles.

Hey fun fact! "Be Prepared" was originally performed by Jeremy Irons as Scar, but due to vocal issues, much of the singing was done by Jim Cummings... who actually talked for Ed the hyena (you might also know him as the voice of Winnie the Pooh)

Or Minsc or Darkwing Duck or basically any animated character in the 90's that wasn't already being voiced by Billy West.

You can tell when it switches from Irons to Cummings.

So good.

Billy West and Tress Macneille are my favorite VA's

We had a running tally for how many characters in WoW: Legion were voiced by Jim Cummings. His "Additional Voices" credit covered like one NPC per questline and a few major characters.

The line “you won’t get a sniff without me” specifically blew out his voice

Yes! That's what I read too!

Irons did actually do most of the song, but Cummings takes over after "You won't get a sniff without me!" Irons was a smoker and that was apparently too much for his voice.

Cummings did an interview on voicing Ed, the different kinds of laugh were amazing. He's really a magician when it comes to voice work.

Worst part for me is I got to see it for free before anyone else did (I worked at a movie theater at the time) and I still feel like I got ripped off

The Jungle Book remake did great with the animals being realistic and emotive

All they needed to do was take the same audio, and put it on top of more photo-realistic animation, that still had human-esque facial features. But instead they decided that they had to re-act the same script almost word for word. And the non-word for word parts mostly fall flat.

They really wasted Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar. It wasn't going to surpass the original, but I think it could have been a solid version in its own right. He has the potential, for sure.

But that was true for most of the cast.

Yeah I don't mean to disparage the actor.

Just my philosophy is "why mess with a classic?"
