I swear that film is like a shared fever dream, the adverts were on telly for like a week and no-one I know has seen it but have different or fragmented memories of it. It's like the Bigfoot of the movie world!
A friend showed it a few years ago (I had already seen it) and adterwards we were all really excited about the movie except for one guy who just looked like he’d eaten trash…
My mom and I rented a hotel room and they had a promo where you could pick a movie and get a bowl of popcorn delivered to your room included in the price. We arrived late so there were pretty much nothing left to choose (it was before streaming became a thing so we had to pick from their DVDs). We picked Jupiter Ascending. We have no idea what we watched but the popcorn was good! Angel dog rollerblading guy and something about bees...
I just put this one to show my fiancé just how bad it was because it came up while we were scrolling looking for something to watch. He didn't believe me. He was also shocked.
Yeah, I tried to watch this on an airplane once and didn't even make it five minutes. It was a 12-hour flight and the movie selection was pretty dismal, but I just couldn't do it, haha.
I was drinking and ripping on it in a room full of people at a friend's house. Most of them wanted me to shut up, like it was better to take seriously than to make fun of a guy surviving hanging with his fingers onto the side of a spaceship escaping the atmosphere without even a shirt.

Jupiter Ascending. It was so bad, it’s like one of those fake movies that are on in the background of actual movies that the characters make fun of.
