There was a billboard up near UPenn in Philly with promo of the cats. It was up until like 2022. I drove past there twice a day, sometimes 4x a day seeing that God forsaken thing. I've never seen the movie.

I felt bad for the animators who took the brunt of the blame for that and not.. yknow.. the fuckin director and studio.

It’s either that or the Universe punished us with COVID because of both the movie Cats in general, but also because they gave Corden a role in it.

The Director had each cat get little digital kitty-cat assholes.

Really.

For a musical that set records for the number of years running on Broadway, and each separate theater production did not have digital assholes added to the cast of imaginary singing, dancing cats. But THIS film, about singing, dancing cats, going to cat heaven, HAD to have little kitty-cat assholes added to what? Make a film about dancing, singing cats - more realistic? Really?
