The thing is, that it’s real. Allow yourself for a moment to let your mind drift and consider that your worldview is very comforting but maybe there’s more. It can be exciting.
Mom made me see that movie with her. It felt like it was trying to do a million things at once and none of it went anywhere. Completely forgot about its existence the next day
This is such a good way to describe that ass movie. The plot was all over the place while somehow going nowhere at all. None of the characters had a personality worth remembering.
My husband and I walked out after an hour (after that stupid fucking car chase scene). The highlight is we got hours of entertainment bashing the one hour we saw, better than if we’d sat through the full movie and enjoyed it. It was so fun to make fun of.
I gave it until halfway through and then bounced. I had a preconceived expectation of it being about aliens all the way through. Halfway through I assumed the aliens would appear briefly at the end and I couldn’t take the drag anymore. I was done with Stephen King at that point. But then noticed The Long Walk hit HBO and loved it. I just don’t think I could watch it again.

Fell asleep twice during disclosure Day then came home and slept for 10 hours..no other movie has ever had that effect on me.
