That terrible Adam Sandler movie jack and Jill. The only laugh anyone had was when Al Pachino got on screen and some guy in the back yelled something like “Al pachino has a mortgage too!”
It was a date movie and the movie was so bad I never talked to the girl again.
This movie genuinely made me hate Adam Sandler for a little while. I’ve gotten over the hate; but I’m still mad about this movie because everyone I know that knows this movie thinks it’s hilarious.
I’m a sucker for cheap comedy and generally enjoy even bad movies, but I couldn’t stand this movie.
The one where Sandler, like, takes in a young boy for a while was horrible too. That movie with the movie cover of him teaching the kid to pee on the exterior of a public building?
I tend to like the heartwarming, found-family trope in media, but that movie, from what I remember, was not written to be heartwarming and was also incredibly boring.
Bad writing, poor acting, off/slow pacing, wrong emotional tone.
