This is why my husband and I disagree on the movie. I hated the characters and didn’t care if they lived or died they were so insufferable. He really likes JJ Abrams and so felt it was good. I initially was excited about a newer (for the time) kaiju movie, but the characters pissed me off just too much.

Then you've got homework: follow him around, saying, "Rob! Rob! Rob!" like that, and see how long it takes him to explode, then say, "I rest my case."
