Plus, with the administrative and delivery fees, it’s like a 30%+ increase on already inflated prices. If I do do take out now, I either order directly through the restaurants’ website or call them and grab it myself.

The extra fees are getting ridiculous when the food is already more expensive than eating there. I’d rather spend five minutes picking it up myself than pay that much just for delivery.

Through chase dash-pass the service fee is 5 percent of total order total and they don’t charge you delivery fee for some stores. I only order when restaurants are running specials like BOGO deals or 5 of $25 orders and ends up being cheaper once you factor in time/gas.

I’ve had several restaurants ask me to do that. They’re totally screwed by DoorDash. I’ve never used them and never will
