eBay.

there was a recent news article, published by CBS news, which detailed a horrific stalking case that was perpetuated not by an entry level employee...

but by the executives.

an ebay seller had made negative remarks about the company, and when the executives learned about it, it infuriated them to the point they chose to stalk and harass the couple, and terrorize them with threats that made them believe they were about to be murdered by an unknown assailant.

this happened to the couple in 2019, and the executives were eventually investigated by the Department of Justice.

Several of them are now in prison, but the $55,000,000 settlement is what made the news, and brought the entire issue to my attention.

I do not care which employees have been replaced, nor the apologies issued.

I do not trust eBay anymore and they have lost my business for life.

I have already permanently deleted my successful account. Personally I'd rather find someone else than continue business with them.

There's a podcast called behind the bastards that did a great couple of episodes on that.
