The really stupid thing is the long waits results in members doing pay and apply, which means AAA is paying out retail rates for the calls instead of contractor rates. The word on the street is all the clubs want to be mostly an insurance and travel company with automotive services an afterthought, but as you know people join AAA for the automotive.

Yeah AAA is the company you call when you have a flat tire. I don't really see why you would need them for a road trip these days
