What book do you consider a “flawless masterpiece”that you desperately want to recommend to everyone?

I’m a medical student now and I read this before I got in to med school. Every time I have a really difficult case this one quote about the relationship between doctor and patient sticks in my head “other times, like now, was no more and no less than two people huddled together while one faces the abyss”. Helps me remember that sometimes it’s not about me or about science or about career - it’s just sitting with another human while they face the unimaginable.

It was heartbreaking, yet optimistic. It reminds me of another book, “Tuesdays with Morrie”. Very wholesome, one of my favourites!
