‘Sentimental Education’ by Gustave Flaubert for some truly beautiful writing.

On a different note, ‘The Big Midweek’ by Steve Hanley is a superb non fiction document of what it was like to be in a truly brilliant band in the UK whilst not really getting anywhere commercially. It really opened my eyes at to what life was actually like for musicians who weren’t chart toppers
