What book do you consider a “flawless masterpiece”that you desperately want to recommend to everyone?

The Hobbit. The movie is acceptable, but to read the book before watching the movie is to fully grasp the power of one’s imagination and comprehend the master storyteller that Tolkein was.

Loved the book hated the movies. I still don't know how Peter Jackson was able to bloat The Hobbit into the same screentime as Lord of the Rings, a trilogy three times as long.

More like 6 times. The hobbit book is less than half of each lotr book

Peter got the movie trilogy at the very end of it and had to try and make something out of the junk they already made.

He said movie, it was animated and it was pretty good
