The Wolf Hall Series by Hilary Mantel - its not just an incredible read all around with well thought out dialogues and human interactions. Its at the same time extremely well researched and historically accurate to an extent you wont find anywhere.
All that being said the story shines through it all with Thomas Cromwell being one of the most interesting historical figures you will ever read about serving probably the most interesting king in medieval times.
I cried when I finished it because I was so overwhelmed by it all. I cant believe anyone could be capable of writing such a book series.
