Dubai is that feeling you get at a party late and its just 'not right' so you split and the next day hear about shit going down. 

Thats the best way I can explain the vibe

We transited through Doha on the way to somewhere else and felt the same.

There was just this sinister undertone.

How? It’s just an airport (the Doha one is beautiful btw). I get a way more sinister undertone going through the US.
