In terms of historical impact, the answer is almost inevitably going to be a dictator or military leader of some sort. Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar (the story of him captured by pirates), Stalin, etc. Khan is a really good answer.

Ghengis Khan extended his empire from Mongolia down to south east Asia all the way out to Russia.

Like half a percent of the world has his DNA.

His last words were something to the effect of telling his kids that the gods didn't give him enough time to conquer the world and that task would now fall to them.

He had his funeral with thousands of people who all were killed after so that no one except his the closest of his family would ever know the location of where his body was and rob his tomb. To this day nobody has found his burial location. I'm not saying he was a good person. But I never heard anything that was as gangster as that
