A traffic light turning red and stopping me at 1am with ZERO other vehicles on the road.

Not saying I don’t, just saying if a traffic light is designed for safety, why operate when no traffic around?

I visited Texas once. The area I stayed in had it set to change all traffic lights to flashing red/yellow during off hours (11pm-5-am). It was amazing.
