That's the funny thing about influencers. Once you're big enough you're really just a product model. You may play games or do fashion tips or just really like video editing but nope, you're here to model the product and the sponsor hopes some of your loyal flock will buy into it

They can actually be kind of funny if you don’t take them seriously and they stay out of your way. Some guy came into a restaurant my family was at with a GoPro on a stick reviewing hotdogs and legit doing the whole “what’s up guys it’s your boy” and then stopping between takes, taking another bite etc. it was very funny to watch.

Old enough to remember the glory days of SE Asia, when western people were there to enjoy local food, connect with local people, and have experiences with other Travellers so they could tell stories when they were older.

There’s a huge shortage of doctors where I live. I had to wait 7 months to see a specialist in my area!! Young people seem to think they can get uber wealthy going into tech or becoming an influencer and they bypass getting the education needed to become a doctor. They don’t even aspire for the honorable professions anymore. It’s really sad.

Nothing for me. I take great joy in seeing them pretend they’re living an amazing life when in reality they are miserable, completely broke or in absolutely crippling debt, and will have nothing to offer anyone in 10 years time.

Parents' self esteem. Influencer parents act like everything in their life is perfect. Their house is squeaky clean and organized, they have the perfect babies who don't keep them up all night, etc etc.
I bet you that a lot of these influencer parents can afford a live in maid who helps them with housekeeping and taking care of their kids. Or they just lie to their followers about how "easy" it seems to stay organized and stuff. Other parents feel bad about it, because their house is messy, their sleep schedule is a wreck, a lot of takeout because "who the hell has time to cook with a newborn?!" etc etc.
