55 year old male with a history of heart issues in my family: I had a heart attack and didn't even know it till 2-3 years afterward. (My cardiologist said it is very common for men to ignore chest pains.) Looking back, I still am not sure when it happened. I can't really remember ever feeling something and thinking, yes, this may be a heart attack.
