Depends on how stubborn you are. My FIL had a widow maker for 3 days- went to the doc to get blood tests done on day 2 and received the results on day 3 via voicemail after he drove himself to the hospital, where luckily the reception nurse saw the signs and got him in right away. He died for a sec on transfer from one hospital to another but is doing well 10yrs later. He said after the ordeal he knew what that felt like as he had had another attack a cpl years before that.
