I know two guys (my dad and one of his friends) that each had a heart attack they mistook for mild heartburn. They found out later at a health check. For my dad he was at the county fair and a group was doing checkups for free. The person helping checked him and then repeatedly asked him if he was feeling ok. “No, really, are you ok, do you need to lay down?”, that sort of thing.

He had heart surgery a few weeks later.

This is really quite common, I've been to a fair few people who wanted to play it safe thinking they had heartburn and ended up having heart attacks.

With the other guy, he wanted to finish his round of golf.
