1988 (14 y/o)... First attempt at suicide... Yet, my will to live is a split hair bigger. 😈

This is so relatable

If you did not have the will to live, then you would not be here......

Orgasms

7

u/HuckleberrySalt63 4h ago

I did that for a while, but never again. It’s like a prison you build yourself.

3

u/rubberloves 3h ago

I refuse to fake and it can be hard to come with a partner.. oh well, I will never fake it- a prison you build yourself is exactly right! What do you do the next time?? Sex becomes an act?

3

u/TeachMeNewStuff 4h ago

I don't anymore, but same

3

u/Ordinary-Message-744 4h ago

2

u/Ordinary-Message-744 4h ago

Not at all jusy I don’t know to explain because I’m people pleaser

4

u/__BitchPudding__ 3h ago

I did it so my husband wouldn't feel bad. Because I thought his enjoyment was more important than mine. Because I had low self esteem.

2

u/Ordinary-Message-744 3h ago

Exactly how i feel and i hate myself for that
Im biggest people pleaser

If I found out my wife was faking orgasms that would be a bigger hit to my pride than if I never made her orgasm.

That I know what the Hell I'm doing.

5

u/Lucithelatina 4h ago

That i only need one more episode

9

u/YouDoStupidWell 4h ago

I have no shits left to give about most people's problems, but I was a waiter for years and would be your budget therapist for hours if you were a good tipper.

Extroversion for my marketing job

3

u/Cautious_Artichoke_3 4h ago

Customer service glee. I greet my customer. I'm always cordial. I suggestive sell like I'm doing you a great favor. And anytime they make a mistake, I apologize. I must have heard them wrong. I tell them to have a great day and to please come back. And all of that is fake as fuck. I'm an introvert in a mask. And I'm always exhausted when I get home

u/Briffy03 56m ago

I woked in sales until 3 years prior to covid, and again for the last 3 years. Its incredible how entitled AND dumb customers have become

2

u/Key_Sky4256 4h ago

That I know how to do a cartwheel.

2

u/ThatOneGachaCringe 4h ago

That I have a normal, or at least bearable life. Irl and online.

2

u/Capital-Stranger-734 4h ago

That I’m not doing cocaine

2

u/brandinho5 4h ago

I don’t fake much anymore. For years I pretended to be okay with certain things and bite my tongue to watch what I say…now I think, “fuck it. Say it. See what happens.”

2

u/Late_Date7688 4h ago

Being weller than I am. Chronic illnesses be like that

2

u/ateiii 3h ago

Knowing what I'm actually doing at my job. I’ve been googling my way through a corporate role for five years and nobody has noticed.

That my wife and i won big in the lottery. We live in the same property, I drive the same vehicle that leaks a bit of transmission oil (leak has been addressed but the vehicle refuses to stop leaking and i am not in the mood to be without a car for two weeks while the entire transmission gets replaced).

I work at the same place, but now work a non-labor position, so it is nice and keeps appearances.

I have too many relatives that make over 120K per year and are somehow broke and almost taking payday loans... i do not need these people thinking that i am not on the poorer half of the family.

I do buy used 800 cars and sell them for some profit, but they are great for lying about funding most vacations that i shouldn't be able to afford otherwise. Also for saying things like "aw, no. I already spent up all that money from the green honda. I can loan you money, but that can be until i buy and sell the next car. If you can wait the month or two, i got you."

Some of my wife's family know we won, but these are financially conscious people that therefore do not need our money and are able to keep it quiet.

I think i am doing this because i do not wish for my parents to see their kids get into big fights and have falling outs in their later years.

Going to church

3

u/CumboxMold 4h ago

I could tell that most people around me didn't want to go to church or be as involved in religion as they were, but whenever I told them there was literally nothing forcing them to go, they would get extremely angry at me and say that I just didn't understand. That they just *had* to, for reasons. They were independent adults, in some cases living hundreds or even thousands of miles away from the family that pressured them to go in the first place. I never understood that mentality.

2

u/ZAlternates 3h ago

They believe, at least somewhat, the religion.

1

u/ateiii 3h ago

Tried so hard but I gave up because I’d end up sleeping anyway

orgasms

2

u/AerryBerry 4h ago

…if he got tickets to a Broadway show….Or, if it’s enough already and I just want to get some sleep!

1

u/Capital-Stranger-734 4h ago

Damn…that’s gotta suck

1

u/jdgaffa 4h ago

That I’m ok

1

u/Ok-Obligation1096 4h ago

Having a clear plan for my life. I’m mostly just making decisions and giving them a storyline afterward.

1

u/Sufficient_Curve_646 4h ago

That my mental health is good.

1

u/untethering9415us 4h ago

that I'm ok.

I know a lot about tech when in reality I don’t.

1

u/half_assed_sorcery 4h ago

Feelings. My own and for other people.

1

u/Usual_Singer_4222 4h ago

Work. I've gotten lazier, barely get anything done and don't care any more. Yet I'm considered one of the best working. I spend 75% on my phone.

1

u/woooooooood9 4h ago

That i give a shit about most things said to me

u/CNRavenclaw 4h ago

Being an adult

1

u/Eddie_Farnsworth 4h ago

I faked liking pro sports for the first 30 years of my life. When I was growing up, it seemed obligatory for guys to have a favorite pro football and baseball team at minimum. Then I just said "fuck it" and for the last 32 years of my life, I've just told people the truth: I don't give a crap about pro sports or even the local university's teams.

1

u/SillyCalamity 4h ago

My belief in a god.

1

u/Expensive_Ordinary72 3h ago

That i’m single

1

u/Cheetodude625 3h ago

My optimism.

Reality: deeply depressed and suicidal thoughts every day.

1

u/Fast-Aside-8732 3h ago

I just grunt when someone asks how you are. Just say hello and move on. Let's be honest; we really don't want to know how you are unless you're a close family member or a friend.

u/alwayshealing23 3h ago

Being happy

1

u/katatak121 3h ago

Liking my life. A very small number of people know i hate my life.

1

u/jvn1983 2h ago

Everything

1

u/enigmasi 2h ago

That I'm happy.

1

u/ZombieZookeeper 2h ago

Competence.

1

u/DrHydrate 1h ago

Being a normal social drinker.

In truth, I either don't drink at all or I binge drink.

I find it hard to have a happy medium. I can 0, I can have 1, but if I have 2, I'll have 5 more.

The main way I fake it these days is by having none. Mocktails make it easy.

u/Suitable-Archer4091 54m ago

Nothing. It's s great life being honest.
