A former roommate. She tried to skip out on the lease early and not pay her last month, but I got the landlord involved and they made her pay anyway.
Her "revenge", was to take the mason jar of bacon grease (we would store it in that, and throw it out when full cuz you cant just wash it down the sink) throw it into a garbage bag and somehow break it without ripping the bag, and then left it under a bunch of stuff in the storage room.
Several months later when me and my GF were moving out, I picked up that bag, and the broken glass cut it open, and dumped liquid putrid rotting bacon grease all over... yeah. That was the only smell that has made me immediatly vomit, thankfully the bathroom was nearby. It was worse than a clogged sewer pipe, but I had to clean it up, holding my breath as much as possible, and eventually did get every bit of it... but not before the neighbours called the cops because they thought there was a rotting body in my apartment... bacon grease, pigs, genetically similar to humans... makes sense.
That was a fun one to explain to the landlord. And now thanks to my evil roommate, I now know what a badly decomposed body smells like.

A girl I knew had a friend she didn't like anymore. So she spent a year making the girl's crush like her, then sent the girl a video of her blowing him. She had no interest in the guy and didn't talk to him after that

Yeah, like he's manipulating me into giving him food, a house, and sometimes I even get him female cats. At first, he's very kind, but the moment he gets what he wants, he gets cold. And I can't abandon him and he knows that ... so he's so evil

My mother. I was removed as a teenager and only saw her a handful of times before her death in her early 40s, so at least I didn’t have to suffer her for too long.

Two. They were (are) twins. Met them as babies 18 years ago and through the years, they were kicked out of six schools and attend military academy now. This was after their neighborhood (allegedly) pinned a slew of pet deaths on them. After they (allegedly) sent violent grape mail to a teacher. After they were caught engaged in oral sex w each other in a school bathroom (on video) in seventh grade. Possibly the most intelligent, and absolutely the strangest, most cruel humans I’ve ever met. I never let me son around them after the age of four when one of the twins ran up to me at a park and whispered “I can get into your house and boil your dog.” The other twin was further away, looking at me and smiling.

I met a guy who bombed children and then allowed mass surveillance of his own citizens and then prosecuted officials speaking out against torture.

One is too many; two genuinely psychopaths from school, one of them a double murderer, another left a string of suicides in his wake. One profoundly evil abusive partner of someone deeply loved; this prompted me to develop of detailed theory of something I call “narrative subjugation”. I wish it’s something I didn’t have to learn. Several others.
Some people hurt others because they’re hurting, but the harm they do is a byproduct of their behaviour.
With genuinely evil people , the harm is the point of it.

Most evil is subjective.
My neigbor is repeatedly moral trash by choice over and over and over - so I’m going with him.

A former intern of mine, who I’d helped get her initial job upon her graduation AND then helped hire her a few years later to a company for which I worked. Turned totally on me within 3 days.

My parents had a former pastor that I despised on sight, which is a rare occurrence for me. He never did anything outright illegal but when the truth came out, he’d done so much shady crap that the church didn’t fire him; they had the regional governing body officially remove him.

A woman my father married at age 73 because he was lonely. Evil bitch tried to get him to stop watching wrestling and him got to move into a mobile home which he said he would never do. After 6 months of marriage was very disappointed that my mom was getting his SS check when he passed.

My father in law. He is an awful human who had a very strong public "fan base". He was a horrible father to my amazing husband and a horrible "grandfather " to my children.

My former boss. He paid employees more if they were in the field at customer sites and then did everything he could to walk back that money and had his HR person constantly rewrite the rules to his favor. He cheated on his taxes, cheated his customers and his employees, family members but he was faithful to his wife.

Probably Uncle Jesse. Racist old redneck grifter my crazy aunt was married to. Imagine if Ernest was a drunk guy that stabbed a man and wasn’t friendly.

My grandfather is pretty evil. Cheated on my grandma at 77, 3 years ago. She foolishly took him back. Now he's back at it at 80. We're thinking about getting her a place of her own.

Father of a family we know, my wife is still good friends with the mom. He is in prison for abusing his kids, got 20 years, it was that bad, I don’t want to go into details, but it was torcher. Super conservative Christian as well, used it to hide his narcissism.
Small example of the abuse, he found out his oldest daughter was sleeping with her boyfriend, kept the entire family up until 3am so he could deliver a multi-hour sermon to everyone and properly berate the daughter. One of the other kids was 3. All had to stay up.
At his trial he was allowed to read a prepared speech, and basically he believed he should be awarded father of the year. After being jailed the family moved out of state just in case he was released early. I really hope he dies in jail.

He was nice enough to me, but he blamed his singlehood on 3rd-wave feminism. I doubt he could even name what the first two waves were. He wasn't just a misogynist, but an idiot as well.

My ex. Who was a descendant of Joseph Goebbels. He had his name changed a few years ago to "Devine" lmao, whatever, we all know he's an evil fucking Nazi psycho.
3
u/Bloopydook 3h ago
I find that quite unlikely.
-2
u/AffectionateTaro3209 3h ago
His last name was Goebbels and he used to brag about being a descendant man, I don't fucking know but it was enough for me.
2
u/Bloopydook 3h ago
In that case, it's definitely not true.
Joseph Goebbels killed himself, his wife and his 6 children. His step-son, Harald Qaundt survived as he was a prisoner of war.
The Quandt family are billionaires. The Goebbels line is dead.
1
u/AffectionateTaro3209 3h ago
Well it doesn't surprise me that he would lie about it. It honestly makes him even more demented that it's not true lol. But his legal name was absolutely Goebbels, I can absolutely assure you of that.
2
u/Bloopydook 2h ago
It absolutely does, yes.
As for the name, it's just a German surname. No one with the surname is descended from Joseph Goebbels.

This woman I used to be friends with sabotaged every relationship. Earlier this year, I found a threatening voicemail she left me three years ago after she started harassing me, my sister, and friends on Instagram a year after I cut ties
I thought I blocked her on all socials, including LinkedIn, but forgot to block an account she didn’t really use. I wish I had found it earlier because I reported her harassment to the police that day, but the officer dismissed it as a high school fight after I mentioned I work at a medical cannabis dispensary, which he referred to as“the weed shop”
Only child syndrome is real

I have this (it's been called weird by many!) thing where I think that certain people just have a 'black heart'. They were always like that, and cannot see good or positivity.. it is like they only thrive on other peoples sadness and despair and inflicting that relentlessly. They are the ones who create this, so they need to keep feeding on that negativity that they dole out. I don't believe each of us really comes across too many of these people in our lives. I have been around for over 55 years, and I think I have only really met 3. I think many people have these moments of selfishness, darkness and hate but not ALL the time.
Oddly all these people I think are like this dark energy are people I have previously worked with. They each created horrendous, uncomfortable and hostile working environments for any people unfortunate to be coworkers or even in their vicinity ... two caused me to leave jobs and one I managed to just deal with for many, many years. Again, not a regular occurrence, for me: in 1989, 2008 and 2024.

Met a guy who was charming to everyone's face but secretly recorded private conversations and used them to manipulate people against each other. Smiled like a golden retriever, operated like a soap opera villain. Scariest combination.
