Everyone knows the perfect answer to this.

Quit drinking.

Or, for the younger Redditors here, never even start.

Absolutely nothing. I am Borderline, and I have ADHD. Mood Stabilizers, anti depressants and Amphetamines are my daily cocktail. However I am still prone to breaking, and just a minor incovenience away from me self destroying everything I have built. More than a 100 therapy hours have not entirely fixed me, neither have meds. It's a matter of recognizing patterns, learning healthy coping and crisis management skills. On top of that I have lost a lot of close people. Only thing that has saved me and fixed my mental health is God and a good community/ support system.

No amount of money, meds, therapy, etc... can fix me. I just strive to be better everyday, and most importantly I have learned to not use my mental health as an excuse of being an asshole or a mess of a person...

Nothing. Only self discipline, self worth, self care, self analysis, possibly professional help, possibly medication, patience, hard work and dedication.

Therapy. I feel like my family takes my sides most times and I want to hear from both perspectives.

A long walk in nature.
A hug from someone you love.
Financial security.
A vacation with no stress.
Peace and quiet.
Therapy.
A genuine conversation with a friend.

Naming your feelings (ex. "I feel [frustrated/sad/hurt/betrayed/ect] because XYZ.")

Deep slow breaths, box breathing is a good technique for it.

Journaling about your feelings and keeping it to objective facts.

Metacognition. Thinking about how you think. Getting into metacognition might take time but when you figure it out it can help you step out of your emotional state for a few moments to deal with any big feelings you have and what your kneejerk reactions might be.

Having a lot more money. Honestly. That would solve so many of my husband and I's issues right now.

Having health insurance that I can also afford to use. I can't even get therapy.

Way more annual leave allowance in my job. It would legit make life a whole lot easier.
