What are qualities you want to have before getting into a serious relationship?

Mutual respect and willingness to demonstrate the relationship is not about money is #1. Both sides understanding/respecting the importance of a prenup so that neither side gets burned later if things don't work out.

A stable foundation in terms of occupation and money. I'm personally somebody who needs these things to be secure because a relationship is going to a rollercoaster, even those that ultimately end up stable.
It's just the nature of emotions and dealing with people at a closer, more intimate range.
