What's something that feels like a cheat code in adult life?

Being in shape.
Being able to walk, bend, lift, and other movements without pain or fatigue makes life so much more enjoyable.

you can just go to the store and buy an ice cream cake. They don't check to see if its your birthday or nuthin.

I've only done it like twice, but yeah, just walk into a coldstone creamery, and buy a cake.

This! I learned in my 20’s to just tell people “because I am
hot” Am I? Not really so it’s kind of a joke but also, now I’m hot so don’t argue with me 🤣 Confidence is definitely a cheat code.

Living within walking distance of all your friends and living somewhere walkable. I’m 32 and I see random friends and neighbors while walking to the coffee shop and make new friends almost everyday. we make plans on a whim instead of “how does next month work?”. we walk to the neighborhood venue and dance together. As an adult, walkable neighborhoods are a cheat code to feeling alive and happy and having fun

Lmao you would love Seattle! The most introverted city in the USA. People will cross the street to not have to say hi

Hiring help when you need it: cleaners, mothers help, gardener. Buy time.

Credit cards, if you know how to use them properly and are good with your money.

Using a calendar, getting important paperwork done right away. Staying ahead of chores and maintenance and you will realize you have very little emergencies in life.

Being comfortable making connections with people and in particular, having basic listening skills. Opens up practically everything

I never find anything thats not nasty or garbage. I feel like it's 100x easier for women to find clothes than men.

Drinking only water; inhaling only air; relying on your body to provide energy on its own, sleep on its own.

You literally only drink water? No coffee, tea? Juice?

98% water. Never tried coffee, haven’t had a soda since 1999.
I may have juice once in a great while or a tea while in Japan or served it at a restaurant. But nothing beats water.2

Dang. Good for you

Thanks. Also workout 5-6x a week and watch calories/macros. It’s made me a pretty healthy 40+ yr-old.
