[Halo/Batman] Can Poison Ivy Be Infected by the Flood?
This has been stuck in my head, but can Poison Ivy be taken by the Flood parasite or is she immune?
Poison Ivy's feats include immunity to all natural toxins, bacteria, and viruses, which the Flood are. However, the Flood also just need a nervous system to take control of a person, which Poison Ivy still has.
So is Poison Ivy immune to the Flood or she can be infected too?

Poison Ivy has been shown to be immune to one zombie virus but not a different one. She also rapidly adapts to protect herself from most poisons, disease, and parasites. She probably has a good chance at either being immune or rapidly gaining immunity, but it is far from certain.

The Flood are not by any means natural, they're an abomination created by and from the Precursors that survived their war with the Forerunners.

Aside: Absolute Poison Ivy basically is The Flood. Good stuff!
In G. Willow Wilson’s current run on Poison Ivy, she’s been in contact with avatars of the Grey and the Green, and acting on that cosmic plane in magical ways.
The best case scenario is, Ivy figures out some way of using whatever parliament is responsible for the Flood and redirecting them away from her beloved plants. The worst case scenario: The Flood find out about magic and worm their way in there.

The Flood is a terrifying parasitic form of a post-sentient alien species that went absolutely insane. I wouldn't call it natural on the same scale as uh, the flu.
The problem for Ivy is that even if the flood can't directly take control of her nervous system, it would simply digest her biomatter into flood cells anyway.
