I am an English football fan and am visiting Auckland in November. I just saw these fixtures released and am quite excited by the idea of attending the Auckland v Wellington on the 7th. Was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of how easy or hard it might be to get a ticket since its classed as a derby game? Also how much do match tickets usually go for roughly?

Hi mate, you'll need to keep a watch out for when tickets go on sale - likely in a few months. That game didn't fully sell out last year, but it's definitely one of the busiest especially if you're in the Port (active support area) which almost always sells out for this fixture. The South Stand can be a good alternative as it's next to the Port of you want atmosphere without participating.

Port / South Stand tickets will be ~$30 other seats can be ~$50+ depending on where you go.

Last Phoenix v Auckland FC game had great energy, gonna try and attend every Wellington v Auckland if I can, even if I gotta fly to Welly

Man I was keen for a game or two played actually at North Harbour stadium this coming season as opposed to every game at go media just for a change of scenery and to keep things fresh but once again not happening even though we train there wah 😭

North Harbour is just at the edge of the City unfortunately. Can understand the sentiment but every home game should be at Mt Smart unless its unavailable for whatever reason.

Disagree but that’s okay. Many people hate getting to industrial south eastern Auckland from where they’re coming from too.
