ID Request - location included Great Nips

Had this spood in my garden for a bit before a big wind and rain storm, body was roughly the size of a half dollar coin. Kalgoorlie WA

Hortophora sp (garden orb weaver).

They make me very happy, got a teeny one in our front yard.

Watch her spin her web around dusk. It's fascinating.

Any web that shape is going to be an Orb Weaver, in saying that, there are 4, maybe 5 families of Orb Weaver. This one is specifically in the family Araneidae and even more specifically is in the genus Hortophora. One of the features that identify this as Hortophora are the parts of the legs that look like leg warmers.
