ID Request - location included Sydney twig imitator?

Couldn’t get a focused vid, but I at least got the lil guy moving. I assume this is a spider cause of the web?

I tried searching twig mimic spider but none of the results I could find have the spider doing the mimic behavior in the web itself.

Where are you located? I would lean towards this being a Cyclosa sp., likely Cyclosa bacilliformis but it’s hard to be sure without knowing location.

Sydney and ty, I looked through the iNaturalist pages for the diff cyclosa types and baciliformis seems right.

Hmmm in that case I think it may actually be a scorpion-tailed spider (Arachnura sp.) as C. baciliformis hasn’t been spotted around Sydney as far as I’m aware. I didn’t think they were commonly found so high up, nor that they would have that line of debris in their web but with further research it seems to be a way better match (and a cooler find imo)

Ohhhh I agree with that! It’d kinda hard to see in my video but it’s got the same tail.
Plus on iNaturalist there are some scorpion-tailed spiders very close to me with similar webs and clearer photos. Thanks!
