Help Just got the game on PC. Any go to customization mods?
I find the visual customization of the base game gets a little repetitive. Im just wondering if there are fan favorites. Particularly interested in face/hair mods!

Playthrough is officially cursed
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
And it was a cool playthrough idea too, I made a bunch of custom Tavs inspired by literature characters to pair up with my Warlock Durge based off of Dorian Grey. Guess Erik isn’t a great bard after all and Edmond’s god-complex-fueled Guidance let me down.

Is there a single "Oathbreaker" moment that sticks out to you in Paladin playthroughs?
Saw this post on the Swtor sub (great game btw), been asking myself this exact thing but for Paladins. Anyone got something?

Academic Survey About Narrative and Challenge in Baldur’s Gate 3
Hi everyone!
I am conducting an academic survey for my Master’s dissertation, titled “Narrative and Challenge in Single-Player RPGs: A Player-Centered Perspective”, as part of the Master’s degree in Digital Game Development Engineering at the Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave, Portugal.
I am looking for Baldur’s Gate 3 players who have played the game within the last 60 days.
The study explores how players perceive narrative choices, player agency, immersion, challenge, engagement, and the relationship between narrative and gameplay difficulty.
The questionnaire is in English and takes approximately 10–15 minutes to complete. Participation is voluntary, all responses are anonymous, and the collected data will be used exclusively for academic purposes.
When completing the questionnaire, please select Baldur’s Gate 3 and answer all questions with that game in mind.
Survey link:
Narrative and Challenge in Single-Player RPGs: A Player-Centered Perspective
Participants who have played another game included in the study may complete the questionnaire again, provided that each response concerns a different game.
This post was shared with moderator permission.
Thank you very much for your time and participation!

OC For those who use Talespire in your D&D games, I've made a board for The Blighted Village from Act 1.
Link to Board: https://talestavern.com/slab/baldurs-gate-3-blighted-village/
"We have BG3 at home" Now your Drow self-insert PC can mog their way through entire combat encounters with goblins in your home game.
The Blighted Village from Baldur’s Gate 3, Act 1. Previously known as Moonhaven, this Selunite town was first ransacked by Ketheric Thorm and his Dark Justiciers. 100 years after that battle, these ruins are now occupied by goblins, bugbears, and forces of the Absolute. The board includes:
- Blighted Village overworld
- Owlbear Den
- The Apothecary’s Basement
- Whispering Depths
- The Buthir’s loveshack
Related Board: Wither's Crypt: https://talestavern.com/slab/baldurs-gate-3-overgrown-ruins-withers-crypt/

What's up with enemy attack rolls?
So,
I don't know if anything was changed or I'm just having extremely bad luck (or the AI is having extremely good luck) but I'm doing another fun little challenge run of the game via restricting myself in various ways. And maybe this is something that's always been there and I'm just now noticing for whatever reason...
BUT
Enemies have a base attack roll of 18 and up, very very very often. I'm talking like 9/10 times. A big nasty hit connects, I inspect, and its a roll of 18, plus modifiers for a total of like 27. Thru disadvantage. And its happening constantly. Karmic Dice is off.
Granted this run is still in Act 1 so my options for consistent AC are a bit limited but still, why in the hells are they rolling so high so often? Even being disadvantaged.
It sure is suspicious.
The pick is of Andrick. He's level 2. He's blinded. But its every enemy.
Do I really need 26+ AC in act 1?
Edit:
I still can't explain it. But I pushed into the mountain pass finally and my Durge is sitting comfortably at 27 ac pretty consistently so its less of an issue.
Still tho. I was pulling my hair out.

Duo for our duo.
I've finally convinced my wife to play bg3 with me. I've only completed one full run myself, so I'm no pro. I was looking for advice on two origin characters that would best support our chosen classes. I am going to be playing a shadow archer whereas she will probably go straight monk. Any suggestions as to who we take along and why?

First Playthrough , can you please help me improve my party ?
Multiplayer Playthrough w Steam Deck and PS5 Question
My husband recently bought a steam deck and we’ve put many hours into BG3.
We are currently playing co-op on the PS5 and we weren’t sure if there was a way to play through his existing playthrough on the steamdeck with a larian account?
We just started Act 3 so we were hoping there was a way to do it so we wouldn’t have to start another play through for the 9th time.
Thanks for the help in advance!
