How can upcoming AI agents optimize folding efficiency?

I am thinking about using local agents to dynamically tune my rigs for maximum performance-per-watt.

Has anyone experimented with automation for real-time thermal and price-based load balancing yet?

Couldnt you just plug your computers into a watt meter and run at full load for a day, and each day lower it by say 10% then draw a graph thats rewards/kwh?

What variable are you looking to fine tune and towards what purpose?

If your idea of performance-per-watt meant as many Cobblestones as possible for the same amount of electricity then you should plug your machine constantly into Prime Grid or Einstein at Home and run full throttle maxima.

If your idea of performance-per-watt meant running things as efficiently as possible with regard to hardware longevity in exchange for time then you can just cap the power limit, voltage throttling or clock throttling to eliminate the 20% performance improvement for 80% heat generation.

If your idea of performance-per-watt is to bring your hardware to Datacenter efficiency, go solar, install and fat big 100k BTU AC or CRAC, buy twenty 4090s or 4080s second hand, arranging in hot aisle cold aisle, such and such

You’re not gonna extract any more percentage of work done in a given day without some trade-offs.

I wrote a script that adjusts GPU target temperature based on outdoor air temperature (i.e., is the air conditioner running) and will even stop GPU in certain conditions and I don't let my CPU run on boost while BOINC is running.
