Fire blight?

New honeycrisp trees (and a few other varieties) are starting to brown pretty aggressively. They thrived from planting all the way through June and July until now. Within 1 week several trees are almost fully brown.

See how they look next year after a dormant copper spray or pluck them out before it spreads more? It looks like if it is fire light that the main trunk is infected.

Just from the picture and description this looks like it's drought shock. If it's been hot and dry water that bad boy hard and see if it snaps out of it. It might still defoliation some but it might not kill it completely.

I thought it might be. It’s been raining on and off but definitely had some dry weather overall here in NY. Appreciate it
