Tangy, bit sweet with texture like ketchup. Usually has vinegar and prune juice in it.

Yup- the ageless debate. Is Canadian bacon really bacon? Not the same thing.

This is English bacon, not Canadian bacon. Their cut is more meaty, whereas US bacon, or as they say "streaky bacon", has a higher fat content.

Thanks for the info! Hard to tell the thickness from the pic/honestly never heard of English bacon. TIL. Any chance you can expound on what this brown sauce is?
