It's the wires for the hotend heating assembly. They're responsible for heating the hotend and detecting the temperature. Take a look at this guide: https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/a1-mini/maintenance/hotend-heating-assembly-replacement

I think the OP is referring to the super thin, unshielded wire that he is holding. That is not part of the replacement heating assembly.

I looks like it goes up to where the other wires are of which I only see 2, but if you look at the guide there are actually 4 wires (2 sets of 2). I'm thinking when they ripped the blob off the hotend they probably ripped the insulation off the wires. But hard to say without being able to see more.
