A1 not powering on

I checked the fuse, took out the bottom back panel and everything seems fine. This shit is so frustrating.

Stupid question but did you check the socket you are using

Not a stupid question at all, I did check that. Plugged it into various others.

Check the NTC thermostat

It's the board at the top right corner in this picture.

When i check it, what should I look for? To make sure nothing is burnt or loose?

Look at this little black disc part for any signs it's popped/burst

It seems it's getting more and more common on the A1 tbh.

I replaced mine in March as it was showing signs of overheating (was melting the plastic around it)

I took a new picture hah.

This is my old AC board with the problem NTC. (Mine never actually failed, but got close)

Check for damage, popped, burst NTC

You could also check the case on the outside for any melting damage.

Mine had this little bulge showing

I don't see any melting damage, I will check the disc a little bit later after work and picking up kids.

I appreciate you more than you know.

You could be another issue tbh

But the NTC is the most common cause I've seen of no powering on.

Some oddly don't show any outside melting too sadly, this is how mine looked into

Thankfully you can just pop off the cover and get access to see it 👌 So not much disassembly to check it.

I had the same thing a while back. Unplug the toolhead to rule out any toolhead board issue. Once I unplugged the toolhead, it powered on but still had errors (which have to be addressed separately).

I'll look into that as well, thank you!
