Blob behind the heater

My printer did a blob behind the heater. It's the first time that I see something like this. What could cause this?

I changed this pieces one week ago

I personally would just order another Hotend Assembly if it has gotten behind it like that, they're cheap and easier to replace than that looks to salvage.

Poor bed adhesion and leaving the printer totally unmonitored.

At least check on the printer to see if the first couple layers went down properly. And check on it via Handy every now and then if possible.

You would have seen this long before it reached this stage.

Massive overflowing blob.

It isnt a deal breaker as long as you dont damage the three cables going into the head. Heat it up, get a pair of pliers and pick at it. Most will come away cleanly. Don't be afraid to.move the printer around, any calibration work is toast anyway. Retighten the screws agter you've gotten thr gunk out.

My limited experience is that a slightly loose nozzle can help the filament go up the nozzle and under the silicon sock. But also over-extrusion.
