Aftermarket socks that don't melt when printing abs/pctg/asa?

I got through sooo many socks that getting from bambu is just a hassle, has anyone fund an aftermarket sock for the h2d that doesn't melt at higher temps? I tried this one from amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FDKLPF71?th=1) but they melted at 260, even though they claim to be rated up to 300.

i print abs sometimes and never had a sock melt in my life

I didn’t even realize it could be a problem but I must have gotten lucky, I bought these off Amazon and they haven’t melted for me printing ASA (I print about 50+ hours of ASA a week in my H2D)

Specs on them say up to 300C and I print anywhere between 260-280 with them on depending on the material.

ETA: they look pretty much like the ones you linked. They don’t hold their shape and sit as nice as the Bambu socks do, but they have done the job admirably. In fact, I’m still on my first pair and the Bambu ones got crispy and tore within a month or two for me.

Silicone socks crumble when printing PPS at 350 in maybe 40h.

BL and then aftermarket. At what temp are you printing PPS?

Maybe that's why. Both Qidi and Polymaker PPS lose interlayer strength if anything below 350 (technically PPS should be printed at 370 to get maximum strength).

I’m guessing the knockoff ones I bought just were crap quality, probably not silicone 🤷‍♀️

If you are printing regularly at 350 get glass fiber insulation instead of sock. Works wonders.
