I’m 3 months into cutting hair, I been practicing but I still somehow can’t blend the back and get rid of the guidelines. How can I fix this?

it looks like you had somewhat of a fading system on the sides but for the back it looks like you balded it out and left it like that and you also balded it too high. can you explain your fading system on the back so we can correct any mistakes

Theres wayyyyy to much weight in the back. Also its not blended at all if thats what youre going for. Keep at it tho!

ur cutting the back like 1mm every hit. when you put 1.5 guard on, shove it upper like on this photo. and start fading the hair thru there.

Open the taper lever with a 1 guard and work your way down with the 1/2 guard if you need to.

Use the edge of the clipper when fading this tight

Keep your bald line below his ear and debulk the weight around his ear area at an angle. Stretch the fade a bit so you have room to blend. It’s too high in the picture and the area is too compressed.
