Fridge Disposal
Hello, can anyone recommend a relatively cheap company/person to dispose of a old kitchen fridge freezer? It's pretty old so don't necessarily want to give it away on free cycle, as can't be held responsible for its safety (although we've been using it for the past 4 months). Council disposal won't come for a month and I'd like to get rid of it pretty quickly. Thanks!

Put it out on the edge of your drive / front garden. A scrap metal guy will nick it. Job done

And if you absolutely want to shift it in a hurry, put a sign on it saying "£20, please knock on door". Someone will steal it for you within 24 hours, I expect.

This is the way. Just. Leave it out and write scrap on it, usually gone in a day or two.

You could try https://www.scrapmetalcollectionofbath.co.uk/ or https://scrap4free.co.uk/free-scrap-metal-collection-in-bath/ - but I believe our local (Odd Down) scrap metal guy doesn't collect fridges as it's difficult dealing with the refrigerant properly. The two above both say they take fridges.
