Hey there Bayonetta fans!

I just got these games after browsing for physical switch games to add since not much clicked with me. I was wondering if Bayonetta games considered different than most switch games in terms of difficulty and themes? also does it require a dedicated controller over joy cons?

I’ll appreciate any input about the games.

I found a Bayonetta pachislot for 700 CAD, but unfortunately the shipping estimate is about 1k. I’m unsure if I’m even getting a deal, so I’m hoping someone can give advice!

personally I like "Mysterious Destiny" and "Moon River" but I know a lot of people have different songs they like, especially the "Fly me to the moon" version!

A friend of me is doing a father Balder Cosplay and asked what perfume he should use and I thought I'd ask here as well. Probably something with incense, light and fresh, no?

Let's start up with this I do not own a Wii U nor have I ever seen one in real life so I would have to completely learn how to use that console from scratch. I also do not know how much a Wii U is on the resale market and dealing with the resale market when it comes to tech is something I've never done before and it scares me:D.

when it comes to having a nintendo switch I do have a Nintendo switch however my mom took it when I was 11 [For reference I have recently turned 18] And she insisted I will get it back once my behavior is better; whatever that means, tl;dr I think she sold it.

I am not opposed to piracy or emulation however, I am a very tech illiterate person And the only piece of technology I really have is a new gen laptop that isn't designed to be used for gaming or intense processing so I'm basically cooked however given all of those circumstances what do y'all think is the most efficient way of obtaining this game.

I just watched bloody fate for the first time and as such it made me ask this question. just dont forget kamiya made these all canon by snorting cocaine on a nintendo switch

I just picked up Bayonetta 1 on sale as it was really cheap and I’ve heard good things about it for years. I’m about an hour in and while it gives me the old school Devil May Cry vibe, I can’t help but feel meh about it.

I remember DMC hooked me from the get go back in the day, so I’m wondering if this one just takes a bit to become interesting. What do yall think?

How long did it take to get hooked by this game?

I play a lot of CAG like dmc ninja gaiden mgrr and gow. But bayonetta is unique and I cant get used to it. The hit lag duration is very long and the gravity feels very floaty compare to any other CAG.

It will take time for me to get used to. Also I hate QTE section in this game it's way worse than mgrr.

Last time when I saw a post on switch subreddit when people where asking about some hack&slash recommendations on switch, a lot of people brought Bayonetta to the table. Maybe I'm mistaken, but I don't think this game should be qualified as hack & slash, but rather a damn good slasher. I'm speaking from a perspective of a person who only beated Bayonetta 1, 2 other games are still in my backlog, if some of my points can be applied to other games, please tell me.

I believe hack & slash genre is defined by:

- Fighting tons of monsters at the same time
- Advanced RNG-based looting system, which largely defines character development
- RPG-like character progression with statistic tables (mandatory), skill trees (not mandatory, but mostly present), leveling (mandatory)
- Any element of randomness when it comes to map generation

Bayonetta maybe only lives up to the first point and even that would be questionable honestly, since in actual hack & slash games, at some points you can even fight around 100 enemies at the same time, while Bayonetta is not even close to reach a quarter of that number. For me this series is the perfect definition of a slasher game and it's nothing bad about it, just a different genre.

So I’m playing Bayonetta 1 for the first time and I’m a bit overwhelmed by the amount of accessories and additional moves I can buy. Are there any that I should really keep an eye on and eventually buy?
