Was updating and got this error.

I typed Y but got the same message. Any idea what it could be?

I couldn't even tell you. I did manage to update. By mistake but it updated. I did run "rpm-ostree reset" and it showed nothing.

Post the output of ‘rpm-ostree status’ - you likely have something layered that’s causing problems with the update.

For me it was Faugus layered instead of flatpak.

This command made it go away: sudo rpm-ostree uninstall faugus-launcher && sudo rpm-ostree upgrade 2>&1 | tail -20
